PODCAST 22: GEORGE HERON

George HeronGeorge went to see the Mystery Jets with Pike, he doesn't like them much, but I think they're alright... hear about that and lots of other stuff in the podcast.

Kavinsky was wicked in Bristol:

The presets have a really good website, check out the link at the bottom of the page to see it.

The production values on this one are the highest yet, it's inspired me to try and make a really good one next time I get a chance.

PODCAST 21: GEORGE HERON & TIFFANY RAMSEY

George and Tiffexpect this: "Hey guys it's George... and Tiffany... Again, 2007 Dawg..." and much much more.

I just bought some new headphones just to listen to this podcast, you know it's good already and you are probably downloading it right now so yeah.

Good effort Tiffany for getting through 18th century literature in Summer school! I second the Marie Antoinette review too, it is totally awesome, not seen the extras yet though.

I think I've covered the tracks that have been used in the list at the bottom.

Enjoy dawgs.

PODCAST 20: STEVE BROWN

Steve BrownThe second of Steves podcasts, I cocked up a little bit and uploaded this one first, so that's why it's been left at the original higher bit-rate, but hey, no drama.

You'll have to pay close attention to catch Steve's opening words.

Yet again I'll have to spend a while updating the list at the bottom, there's a few tracks there which I'll be downloading some time, and Steve chats about a few different happenings to keep y'all amused between tunes.

I'll update the artists list when I get a chance with all the new ones Steve's included.

PODCAST 19: STEVE BROWN

Steve BrownTo Follow up the video slide show Steve Made here's the first of his audio only podcasts.

Hear Steve talk about good stuff and play some good music, but don't take my word for it, download it and listen yourself.

I'm going to have to listen to this again and update the artists links at the bottom as there's plenty on here which haven't been featured before, a lot of new chilled out stuff especially.

I re-encoded this one at 126kbps, rather than the original 192kbps, just to save time on uploading (and downloading) it, you won't notice the difference hopefully.

"It was crap, but she's a good singer."

PODCAST 18: VIDEO BY STEVE BROWN

Steve Brown IIISteve made this awesome slide-show, set to a chufty tune by The Rocket Summer, with loads of pictures from all over the place.

I uploaded it to YouTube to fit in with the other videos here, but the higher resolution 32.5MB windows media file is available via RapidShare.com here: http://rapidshare.com/files/33094745/Piccast-favs_0001.wmv.html

And here's the note he sent with it (the 2 other audio podcasts will follow shortly, I thought I'd stagger them a bit):

PODCAST 17: VIDEO BY ANDREW JINMAN FEATURING JD

Andrew JinmanAndrew shot this as part of a project called FATE which is part of his Uni' course.

In this scene we see the female lead reminiscing about her past love played by James Diffey, and I think you'll agree the acting is second to none, is it too soon to whisper Oscar?

PODCAST 16: VIDEO BY BEN PASCOE

Ben PascoeI made a short video podcast featuring the voice of Steve Brown.

The footage is from a couple of surf missions that JD and I went on fairly recently, and a couple of clips from Bourenmouth.

Music is "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off" (originally by Jermaine Stewart) by Kids on TV.

PODCAST 15: GEORGE HERON

George HeronGeorge has brought a new podcast to the table.

Plenty of different stuff in this one, and it's got balls.

Also featuring what George has been up to, I'll let you find out by listening, I should have posted this here ages ago, but I've been busy.

I Stole the Tiga tune like I said I would.

PODCAST 13.5: STEVE BROWN

Steve BrownSteve edited this short video.

I uploaded it to YouTube so everyone can enjoy it.

Music is New Slang by The Shins.

PODCAST 13: GEORGE HERON & TIFFANY RAMSEY

George & TiffLive from Colorado, Tiffany and George present 25minutes of heart warming tunes.

George tells it like it is about Apples™ DRM, but pulls some classics out of the bag none the less.

As always I've put the artists in the list at the bottom, if you want to know what a good band/artist website should look like go to John Mayers site.

I think I'll steal Georges track from Tiga for my next podcast, so you won't miss out.

This will be the soundtrack to my journey to work for the next couple of days, guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

Thankyou Tiffany and George!

PODCAST 12: GEORGE HERON: ITS CHRISTMAS

George HeronHaving listened to this, it's not got much to do with Christmas, but I already wrote the XML for the RSS feed and I can't be arsed to re-do it, and It is Christmas after all.

Well with Christmas approaching George has produced another great Podcast.

Quality stuff again from George, the intro deserves a good loud listen.

PODCAST 11: GEORGE HERON: CANDYFLOSS

George Heron"If you can just imagine girls dancing in a nightclub with their little handbags over their shoulders..."

I like this one a lot.

There's no messing about just 20 minutes of decent music.

PODCAST 10: BEN PASCOE, JUST A QUICK ONE

Ben PascoeA few songs that I am listening to at the moment.

I put this together whilst waiting for the tide for a surf, there's a couple of uncredited songs on there, all happy tunes, I was going to add a couple more but I couldn't be bothered.

The one's which I don't mention are Belle and Sebastian: Me and the Major and the first track is Air: Kelly Watch the Stars.

PODCAST 08: JAMES PRESELO, RECORDED ALONGSIDE GEORGE HERON

James PreseloJames Preselo's second podcast, recorded along with George on this one.

There's an "eclectic" range of music, chosen by James, so expect the unexpected...?

George also does a little interview which is nice, and we hear a little bit about what James has been up to recently.

PODCAST 07: GEORGE HERONS THIRD PODCAST

George HeronGeorge brings us an overdue update with some news from a bunch of people, and some good music.

It's really good, George gets more professional every time he does one of these, This one's got a nice mix of different tempo's and moods.

There's some different music in this one but it's all good. And there's some comment on the latest ThreeSixty too.

I'm pretty sure I've updated the links to artists over on the right, if anyone spots one that isn't there, leave a comment or go and do something usefull instead.

PODCAST 06: JAMES PRESELO - "A MODERNISTS REVELATIONS AND PERSPECTIVES ON TODAYS SOCIETY"

James PreseloTitle: "A modernists revelations and perspectives on today's society"

I've just listened to this, words cannot do it justice.

I'll just say George does a stirling job of narration but the content is unmistakeably "Preselo"

If you haven't downloaded any of the others, start with this one, 10 out of 10.

PODCAST 05: JAMES PRESELO - SUBSTITUTE PODCAST

James Preselo This is an unauthorised James Preselo podcast, I made it out of clips I salvaged from an interview I did with him using my camera with a messed up microphone.

It's shorter than the others, only 15 minutes, and the songs are from a CD James sent me ages ago, or ones that he's recommended to me.

Hopefully there'll be an official James Preselo podcast coming some time too, as I'm sure there's all sorts of new stuff that he can bring to the table now....

PODCAST 04: GEORGE HERONS SECOND PODCAST

George Heron George has done another one! and it's great.

A wicked start to this one, George also talks about ThreeSixty a little bit, but there's not so much random crap like there was in mine, just quality music and some smooth segways.

Hope the competition entries are going OK, George sent me some credits for the sound-effects he used, so I thought I'd put up a play-list type thing some time, probably when I put up the results of the competition.

Notice the lower bit-rate and resultant lower file size of this one, I'll follow suit and do the rest at 64K aswell I think.

PODCAST 03: BEN PASCOES SECOND PODCAST

Ben Pascoe As ThreeSixty has just come out, and as I was making a CD for James Preselo (hear his podcast soon hopefully) and as there's no surf, I thought I'd make another podcast.

I've discussed the various RSK-relevant content of this issue of 360, awarding the coveted "most coverage" award to one of the riders familiar to RSKonline.co.uk visitors.

There's also a COMPETITION in this one!! I've put 14 snippets of music from different bodyboard videos, a few seconds each, so what you have to do is identify the video or DVD that each is from... some are easy, and some are harder. Just e-mail me at garthwembury@hotmail.com with all the correct video/DVD's in order and you'll win a copy of the RSK DVD! (if you've already got it I'll send you a different DVD of a couple of other sessions relevant to your area)

PODCAST 02: BEN PASCOE

Ben Pascoe I, Ben Pascoe, have made the second RSK podcast, I've tried to choose a few songs representative of what I'm listening to at the moment, and a few that envoke some memories of the past experiences I've shared with some of you guys.

Taking in a variety of styles and genres, and an eighties advert for some diet supplement with an unfortunate name, I also tried to do all the segways in 1 take so there's plenty of umms and stuff in there, but if I do another one it'll be better.

I like every track on here, obviously, but I think there's something for nearly everyone in this one, interestingly there's not one track from Knifehandchop...

PODCAST 01: GEORGE HERON

George Heron George Heron brings us the first RSK Podcast, I won't put up the full playlist or anything, but you can post any questions about the tracks on the little comments box over on the right hand side.

In this podcast George explains the origins of the RSK podcasts, plays some good tunes and explains the significance behind them or why they're good in his ears.

The music is from a variety of genres including hardcore, indie and hip-hop, My favourite track at the moment is the first one from Action Action, it's really catchy...

MORE SOON...

The whole point of this exercise is to experiment with this new medium of podcasting, and to allow anyone of us lot who wants to to show the rest of us what they're listening to at the moment.

So if ANYONE wants to do one of these podcasts, it's easy to do, you can use a free audio editing program like Audacity or you can use a video editing program like Premiere if you're familiar with that. Have a Google if you want tips and tutorials, it is pretty easy though.

Don't forget to track the RSS feed so you can keep up to date at a glance using your favourite software.
