About The RSK site and DVD
Steve Brown representing

The Ready Steady Kook site was just a place for my friends and I to share pictures of surfing or whatever else we have been up to with anyone interested. A by-product of this is that everyone else on the internet can see it too.

Now I've finally got organised enough to finish the RSK dvd, I thought I'd use the site to show anyone who's interested whats on it and how to get it.

The whole point of the site, and now the dvd was to collect together all the bodyboarding related footage and pictures from the last few years which otherwise would have been strewn around the country on VHS tapes and in photo albums that wouldn't be looked at for years at atime, if ever.

It was never meant to be a top british bodyboarding dvd, more of an attempt to make the best I could from the footage I had, but it's turned out better than I thought, and hopefully it might inspire other people to do a similar thing with all the stuff thats accumulated between a bunch of mates.

So have a look at the pictures and the video clips that are on here, and head to the DVD page if you want a copy of the dvd, the idea is to sell a few copies to cover the cost of giving them out to my friends that are in it.

Why RSK?

I thought of the name Ready Steady Kook whilst paddling out on a stormy day at Llangennith in the first year of Uni at Swansea. As anyone knows who has surfed big 'Gennith it's not worth it, so I had plenty of time to think about nonsense on the way out. Originally I thought "Hand-drags at Dawn" would be a good name for a video/website but I had decided on RSK by the time I got out because the acronym was better than H-DAD.
