March 06 - Present
· FirstAssist: Customer support/Sales, contacting existing customers by telephone, discussing and selling various policies on behalf of the AA and RAC organizations. Meeting targets and consistently dealing with customers.

1999 - 2005
· Royal Mail: Data Entry Keyer, Data entry, developed ability to reach targets and maintain efficiency.
· Cost Cutters: General checkout and stockroom duties, looking after a busy shop, working alone when necessary, receiving deliveries.
· Becton Dickinson: Production line operative Working as part of a small team, reaching targets and adapting to changing environment.
· Shell service station: Checkout and stockroom Developed customer relations skills.

OTHER WORK EXPERIENCE

Various experience with the BBC, filming and editing a piece for Spotlight on location at the Devon County Show, followed by a weeks experience in various fields in the BBC South West organisation.

Entrepreneurship module in final year of University involved working closely with local start-up businesses, the Young Enterprise scheme and many other SME business related services in South Wales. By running a company for a year I gained an insight into many of the processes of running a business.

POSITIONS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Swansea University Surfing Society: 2003-2004 Vice Captain Involved in organizing society events including organizing surf lessons on the Gower, traveling to West Wales for team selection events and Newquay for national competition.

· Set and achieved targets, met deadlines
· Produced promotional work including poster design, advertising, personal persuasion

INTERESTS

Surfing: Vice Captain of Swansea University surf society 2001-2004, represented university in national student championships 2004 and 2005, placing 11th and 2nd.

Videography: Produced full-length surf DVD, marketed and sold through premieres, national magazine review and the Internet. Winner of Digital-Director.co.uk video editing competition 2004.

Web design: Developed a number of sites for societies at Swansea University, a site to promote and sell DVD including a database driven on-line store, examples can be seen via my personal site: BenPascoe.co.uk

Sport: Various awards achieved in kayaking, sailing, football and surfing.

Reading. Literary fiction, Biographies, travel.

Traveling: Independent travel to France, Ireland, Latvia and Italy in recent years.
